In Autumn term, children in Year 4, 5 and 6 were treated to a children's theatre production called Melva and took part in 4 workshops, as a creative way to help them learn about good mental and emotional health and how to look after themselves and others.
Children learned that 'Brave isn't how you feel, it's what you do.'  The children helped Melva overcome her worrits (worries) and climb Mount Scratchicle, to rescue Grandpa.
The performance and workshop allowed children to develop their Self Belief, Self Awareness and Resilience, in accordance with our core values.
